Celebrating West Virginia's 150th birthday, FestivALL Charleston is an exciting ten-day festival of music, food, art and entertainment. This year, FestivALL features fun concerts, dance and theater performances, films, visual arts, entertainment and cultural events at diverse art and pop venues around Charleston. FestivALL presents over 100 hours of incredible free live music at cool venues and stages, including the Mountain Stage, Capitol Market Stage and the Appalachian Power Stage. Groove to the music of headliners, like Kathy Mattea at Moses Automotive Live on the Levee, Soul Rebels at Wine & All that Jazz and legendary R&B band Kool & the Gang at the Mayor's Concert. Dance under the stars with Marcia Ball at Blue, Brews and BBQ on the lawn beside the Kanawha River at the University of Charleston.
Enjoy wonderful art exhibits at local galleries and shops, including the Annex Gallery at Taylor Books, Clay Center, Art Emporium and Gallery Eleven. Experience the Capitol Street Art Fair, with original arts and crafts by regional artists and street musicians, or hop on the Trolley Art to experience the city's beautiful public art project. Enjoy live theater shows and plays by the Charleston Stage Company, Third Eye Cabaret, Kanawha Players and the No Pants Players.
Experience the street party of the year with music, art, dance, live theater, and family-friendly entertainment and activities. Enjoy fun events like the Charleston Ballet, East End Warehouse Walk, River Queen Cruises and the West Virginia International Film Festival at Davis Park. Indulge in delicious local food at the Smoke on the Water Chili Cook-Off and East End Bazaar Country Roads Cook-Off, featuring amateur chefs using local foods.
